Where to Begin?

Okay........going to give this a try, here in the land of "Blogging". Not sure what I'm doing here. Don't have a home with a growing family to write about and share their antics and pictures.....my children are all grown. Heck, even my grandchildren are all grown! There are seven great-grandchildren (at the present time!), but you are seeing and learning about them on their parents webs, or the "Family Site". So.....guess I'll go back in time, and begin at the beginning of "Bob and Jo", with this picture taken sometime late 1952 or early 1953, at some point after our engagement, when we were at a San Francisco nightclub, enjoying the evening with friends.

TREES - by Joyce Kilmer (one of my Favorites)

I think that I shall never see
A Poem as lovely as a Tree

A Tree whose hungry mouth is presst
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A Tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray,

A Tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain,
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a Tree.
